We wanted to go for fondue. We thought we knew where we were going but we walked and walked and walked some more, with no restaurant. We stopped at the library and the librarian told us where one was. So we walked and walked and walked some more and finally found the restaurant. It was this cute, local restaurant, where only an older lady spoke broken English but we got our fondue, bread, dry meat plate and 4 bottles of wine!! Yum! Yum!
They had recreations of famous paintings but with fondue added somewhere in the photo. Now I had a picture of the last supper with guinea pig from Peru and one with fondue from Geneva. Ha! Ha!
After eating and drinking our fill, we walked and walked to the river and had beers at a pub. Our new American friend from New Jersey, Bridget, taught us how to dance, after we stopped a third time for mcflurries at McDonalds. Lots of fun and lots of laughs!!
